Our Commitment

VentureBeast.Tech is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard
  • Skip to content — A skip link allows keyboard users to bypass navigation
  • Focus indicators — Visible focus outlines on all interactive elements
  • Color contrast — Text and UI elements meet WCAG contrast requirements
  • Dark mode — A theme toggle for comfortable reading in different lighting
  • Reduced motion — Animations are disabled when users prefer reduced motion
  • High contrast — Enhanced contrast support for Windows High Contrast Mode
  • Semantic HTML — Proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA labels
  • Responsive design — Content adapts to all screen sizes and zoom levels
  • Screen reader support — Route changes are announced to assistive technologies
  • Labelled forms — Every field has a visible or screen-reader label, errors are announced, and password managers can fill sign-in forms
  • Menus and pop-ups — Close with Escape, keep keyboard focus inside while open, and return it afterwards
  • Accessible bot check — Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which never shows image puzzles

How We Test

  • Every public page type is scanned with axe-core (the engine behind Google Lighthouse's accessibility score) against WCAG 2.1 A and AA, in both light and dark mode, in a real browser. On September 29, 2026 the scan found no violations.
  • Automated tests check keyboard behaviour of menus and pop-ups, form labels and autocomplete, on every code change.
  • We check layouts at phone width (375 px) for sideways scrolling and pinch-zoom.
  • On September 30, 2026 we tested the home page, an article and the sign-in page by hand with VoiceOver on an iPhone (Safari): cookie choices, the menu, image descriptions, sharing buttons and the sign-in form were all announced clearly.

Automated tools and our own spot checks can't catch everything, and we haven't yet had a full audit by screen-reader users. Your feedback helps us find what we miss.

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some areas may have limitations:

  • Most article header images use the article's title as their text alternative rather than a description of the picture. Images added to articles now require a description, and we are updating older ones.
  • Some embedded third-party content (YouTube videos, social media embeds) may not be fully accessible.
  • PDF documents, if any, may not be fully screen-reader compatible.

We are actively working to resolve these issues and improve our accessibility.
